Northside KIDS!

WHAT TO EXPECT AT Northside KIDS (Kids in Discipleship)

First Time Guests:  Inside the main entrance to the church you will see a Welcome Center.  There, you will find a friendly face ready to help you get to the right place. One of our team members will greet you, guide you through the registration process and personally escort you to your child’s classroom. They will be happy to answer any questions you have about our environment and will make sure you have all the information you need.

Check-in & Security: Here are a few of the ways through which we are committed to making your child’s time with us safe and meaningful.

·Upon Check-in your child is given a security name tag. This sticker is placed on your child’s front or back.  This tag matches the tag you are given. You will not be allowed to pick up your child until the names on these tags are matched at the door of the children’s area.

Sunday Morning Programs: Your child will find welcoming arms and biblical instruction in classes offered for Infants through Elementary Age Children.

·Infants through PreK: We have created a fun, safe and faith-filled experience. By using Bible stories, singing, prayer and fun activities the children have opportunities to learn how much God loves them and how to love others. Babies through Pre-K go to the Children’s area for the entire service.

·Kinder through 3rd Grade: Children will be checked-in by a parent at the Welcome Desk and dropped off in their classroom. We have age-appropriate worship, bible study, prayer and exciting games or activities to help your kids love learning about God. They will be taken to their own Children’s Church area after the KIDs class. You will pick them up there after the regular morning service time.

4th graders -6th graders join the adults in the sanctuary for the service.

AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is a Wednesday night program for children ages 3 – 6 th grade. The children divide up into three different groups or "Clubs" for the evening according to their age or grade level: Cubbies (3 & 4 year olds), Sparks (Kindergarten – 2nd grade) and Truth ‘N Training or T&T  (3rd – 6th grades). The children or “clubbers” enjoy games, prizes, music, parties and more. Additionally, the clubbers spend time studying God’s Word, memorizing Scripture and listening to special devotionals. The main focus of AWANA's is to expose our children to God's Word and encourage them to memorize it!
